Magazine Design Ideas

For my magazine i want to stick to  a genre specific theme, which will be Grime. The reason for this is Grime is a very underground yet upcoming genre which is only really associated in England midlands. This is also a genre in which i know alot of, enjou lsitening to and can take an interest in when making further research. For my housestyle, i expect to keep either a: Black, Green and White, or Black, Light blue and white colour scheme. The reason for this is that most clothing associated wityh people who listen to grime only keep into a certain solid colour region, i also think this will suit the magazine because it will give it a very modern approach and feel. Another thing i want to keep consitant throughout the magazine will be a carbon fibre texture for both background and overlay, as well as optical and anamorphic lens flares, too boost the modern feel.
Another thing i will need is to ensure that the language and slang used within the magazine is that of the audiences understanding. I shall be aiming the magazing at Males ages between 15 - 21, this is typically the age range of grime artists, as well as those who take an interest into this music. It is also noticed that girls do not tend to listen to grime, which is why the magazine only targets males. One thing i may like to include is newest on sporting brands, as it seems again that these young grime artists and listeners take a keen interest in latest fashion.
